Barbara Schucko is a music producer and composer born and raised in Brazil. She holds a BM in Contemporary Writing & Production from Berklee College of Music, having graduated Cum Laude in 2016. Barbara has been singing from a young age, and her curiosity got her to stretch her horizons towards different instruments throughout her career. That lead her to become a touring bassist and background vocalist for the blues band The Reverend Shawn Amos as she arrived in Los Angeles in 2018.
Barbara has played venues such as the Broad Stage in Santa Monica, Vibrato Grill Jazz, Blue Note, Biscuits and Blues, and festivals such as Bluesapalooza and the Highmark Blues and Heritage Festival in Pittsburgh. She also performs as a versatile lead vocalist singing in English, French, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
In the never ending path of discovery and change, Barbara found a home in the gravity breaking power, and endless possibilities of music. She is fascinated about learning and always keeping music as a fun adventure.
