Welcome to 123 Rock School of Music

We believe music is an essential factor in our lives. A perfect combination of tones and colors that gives us joy and fulfills our senses. A human function that is naturally developed since the day we are born, perfectly connected with our imagination and creativity.

At 123 Rock we took that principle and turned it into a music learning method. Better known as “Imagination is Creation”, our method takes our students favorite things in life and turns them into a musical experience to which they can relate.

As an example, if a student likes a book, a video game, or a specific TV show, we look into those and not only we play the music of these sources, but we inspire our students by creating a whole musical world to which they can relate by visiting these things they deeply enjoy in life.

How fun would it be to learn how to read the notes for the pink panther theme? Or how cool would it be to learn how to play the Super Mario Bros. theme? Perhaps we could write a song about running through a maze while we try to escape from an epic dragon in the world of Minecraft? Or maybe writing a song about a magic fairy that lives in your garden? Or how about improvising your way into Hogwarts along with Harry Potter?

Truth is, no matter what style of music you like or who you really are, there is an infinite musical world that awaits. What if the 70′s was your time and you feel like playing a song by Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin? How about maybe sing and play as Taylor Swift? Or perhaps playing Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata” is what makes you whole.

Our method is simple, yet incredibly rewarding and effective, we take our students through different fun musical activities visiting both theory and practice. Our teaching plan combines reading music, playing both original and existing songs, improvisation, ear training and composing music/writing songs. Our goal is to make of our students happy musicians based on what they like and who they are.

123 Rock is for everyone, no matter if you are 4 or 96 years old, or if you are a complete beginner or a lifetime experienced musician, you will find a fun interactive experience that will bring you joy and excitement.

123 Rock was founded by Film, TV, Video Game composer and educator Marcos Moscat.
